Apply to Emerson College using the Common Application or the Emerson Application.
Once your application to Emerson College has been received, the Office of Undergraduate Admission will email you an Emerson Admission Office ID Number. Although transcripts and recommendations are a required part of the application due at the application deadline, they are not a requirement for receiving an Emerson Admission Office ID Number.
As soon as you have your Emerson Admission Office ID Number you are ready to submit an Artistic Application and BFA Theatre Education essay.
Submit an Artistic Application through Acceptd
- Start an Artistic Application on Acceptd
- Complete the form and upload the following
- Resume & Headshot: a 1-page theatrical resume and headshot/selfie.
- Essay: Your essay should describe one key theatrical experience, either onstage, backstage, in a classroom, or in an audience, that has motivated you in your pursuit of a degree in theatre; it should also outline how Emerson’s program would help you achieve your long-term professional goals (500–700 words).
Please note: Great news! For the Fall 2022 term, Emerson is waiving the artistic review fee for this program.
