The Emerson-Blanquerna Center for Global Communication was created to advance the dynamic academic partnership between Emerson College and Blanquerna Facultat de Comunicació i Relacions Internacionals in Barcelona, Spain by creating new opportunities for research and teaching collaborations between the two institutions.
As an initiative, the Center further embodies the spirit of innovative collaboration in the field of global communication that originally brought the two institutions together. It will connect Emerson and Blanquerna students and faculty members through projects and special events related to public diplomacy, international marketing, digital media, sports communication, public relations, and political communication, among other areas of common interest.
The Emerson-Blanquerna Center for Global Communication will foster collaborations in the field of global communication that advance the mission of both institutions in research and teaching, advancing knowledge, raising the institutions’ visibilities, and shaping the future of the communication professions.

About Our Partner
Blanquerna Facultat de Comunicació i Relacions Internacionals is an institution of higher education within Ramon Llull University in Barcelona, Spain. It provides education, professional training, and research opportunities in the arts, sciences, and technical disciplines. Its main function is to educate and train journalists, publicists, public and international relations professionals, and professionals in the fields of cinema and television.
