Leslie BrokawPart Time Faculty (2000) B.A., Wesleyan University Leslie Brokaw is editor-in-chief of Leader magazine (girlscouts.org/leader), a one million circ publication for adult volunteers of Girl Scouts of the USA produced by SPOT ON media. She also writes a weekly column on the New England film community for the Sunday Boston Globe and writes and edits the annual guidebook Frommer's Montréal and Québec City. She began her writing career in radio, as producer and on-air reporter at the public radio station WAMC-FM in Albany, New York. She spent 12 years at the national business magazine Inc., first as a feature writer and then as editor-in-chief of the original incarnation of inc.com. In addition to her teaching at Emerson, she has also been a self-employed journalist and web editor (citizensbank.com, chrisbrokaw.com, mayakoba.com). |
