Karen EnglishPart Time Faculty (2000) B.A., Barat College; M.A., Tufts University Karen English began her career teaching college history courses, then moved into publishing when she was drafted to work on the multi-volume book series The Vietnam Experience. She went on to edit other history and travel related continuity book series, as well as subscription-based business and consumer newsletters and direct marketing collateral. Since the early 1990s, she has been editing magazines and associated content at The Pohly Company, a leading marketing and publishing services company, where she is now an associate editorial director. She has worked on award-winning custom publications for several national companies and associations, including Continental Airlines, Western Union, UAW-Chrysler, Fidelity Investments, the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, Rice University, and Sotheby's, among others. |
