Since its founding in 1999, The Emerson Channel has established itself as one of the most innovative and forward-thinking college television stations in the country. Consisting of The Emerson Channels 3 & 56, Emerson Info 57, and web streaming at The Emerson Channel Online, ECTV has become the primary source for news, entertainment, and educational programming for Emerson students. Besides providing award-winning original programming to the college at large, The Emerson Channel also provides unparalleled opportunities to students interested in careers in the television industry. Emerson Productions

TRF Services are the center for in-house video work. Presentations and material for the Admissions Office, Institutional Advancement and the President's Office projects are undertaken regularly using student staff.

In its efforts to expand Emerson's reach and reflect the talent and knowledge of its faculty, students, and staff, Emerson Productions also seeks partnerships with outside broadcasting, film, and other media organizations for both the production and distribution of new products. These products can range from original television and radio programs to World Wide Web services.
