Center for Health and Wellness

The Center for Health and Wellness supports the health and wellness of each student, enhancing the learning environment of Emerson College through a range of health and wellness services and programs.

At the Center for Health and Wellness, we believe good health is essential for academic achievement.

Our mission is to provide quality accessible health care for students, sponsor programs that promote healthy choices, and enhance the health and wellness of our campus community. The Center provides a range of health and wellness services and programs to meet the needs of Emerson College students.

The Center is directed by a nurse practitioner. Our staff includes nurse practitioners, a physician assistant, a nutritionist, and a health and wellness educator. A supervising physician is available on call when medically necessary.

Flu Shots Available - Winter 2013

The City of Boston declared a Public Health Flu Alert on January 9. Current influenza (flu) activity is greater than predicted this flu season.

We encourage all members of the Emerson community (except for individuals advised otherwise by their medical providers) to get a flu shot before returning to campus from winter break.
