Credit-Bearing Internship Deadlines

The summer deadline for credit-bearing internships has passed. The Fall 2013 deadline is September 10th. For questions regarding internships and the credit approval process, please contact Marissa Shallcross at marissa_shallcross@emerson.edu.

Walk-In Hours

There will be no walk-in hours during the summer. Career Services will be open all summer long for phone, skype, and in-person appointments. Please call our office to schedule your appointment! Walk-in hours will resume in the fall semester.

Internships

Internships (for-credit or non-credit) are a key element of preparation for a career in the arts and communication fields, and are an integral part of the Emerson College experience for both undergraduate and graduate students.

Students can earn academic credit through the internship program, and internships can be done almost anywhere in the world, although Boston, New York City, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C. are the most common locations for Emerson students.

Spring 2013 Internship Fair

If you missed the fair, you can still check out the list of employers that attended. Please log onto eHire and click on Career Events to search for the Internship Fair.

Client Survey

Did you visit Career Services for an appointment? If so, please take our Client Services Survey so that we can continuously improve our services. It would help us greatly if you took our survey at least once.

Mentoring

Emerson Connections links Emerson students and alumni to career professionals who are interested in facilitating discussions to share knowledge and form industry connections.

The Board of Overseers also sponsor a mentoring program, matching first and second year students with a successful industry professional for a two-year, one-on-one relationship.
