Programming & Special Events
The Emerson College Office of Student Activities provides a balance of support and challenge that aids in students’ social, emotional, and professional development. Students have the opportunity to engage in co- and extra-curricular clubs and organizations, as well as serve on programming committees.

Emerson Mane Events
Emerson Mane Events (formerly known as the Campus Activities Board) is a student-run organization that seeks to provide entertaining and educational events for Emerson students. Divided into four sub-committees, student leaders select, plan, promote, and actualize events that engage, entertain, and educate.
The Concerts, Comedy, and Culture committee keeps you laughing with events such as Sassy Gay Friend, dance troupe Static Noize, and open mic nights.
The Emerson Cares committee gives you an opportunity to give back to Boston by working with local community service agencies, both on and off campus.
The Ideas & Issues committee helps educate with Women's Herstory Month, LIVESmart week, and fun events such as Broetry and InvestiDate.
The Nonsense & Novelty committee does everything under the sun! From Art Therapy to Tasty Tuesday, this committee will keep you entertained.

EVVY Awards
The student organization Emerson Independent Video produces the EVVY Awards, Emerson’s equivalent to the Emmy Awards, where distinguished industry professionals give awards honoring Emerson’s best student work. The EVVY Award ceremony is a major event in the Emerson community.
