The Multipurpose Room, located on the main level of the Max, is a small showcase space perfect for individual performances requiring little technical set-up. The room features a small movable stage, preset audio and lighting, and variable seating for up to 55. This space is primarily used for small student performances, rehearsals, poetry readings, guest speakers, small receptions, training sessions, and other meetings or gatherings.
Room Features
Furniture: Furniture can be moved/rearranged for banquet, theatre, and meeting set-ups. Furniture and fixtures must be returned to standard set-up after event.
A/V: LCD projector and screen; DVD/VCR player; laptop VGA interface; S-video, Composite, and High Definition RGB Component video inputs; CD player; inputs for 2 mics and an auxiliary device (e.g., iPod or other music device).
Other: Full stage lighting with 10 variable presets ranging from focused spotlights to colored washes.
