Welcome to the "Max"
The student organization and activities space at 150 Boylston Street was named The Max Mutchnick Campus Center in recognition of a major gift from Mutchnick, a 1987 Emerson graduate and co-creator and executive producer of the Will & Grace television sitcom.
A LEED-certified building, the Max Mutchnick Campus Center occupies three floors of the 14-story, mixed-use building. It houses space for student organization offices, meeting rooms, and social spaces. (The 185,000-square-foot Piano Row building also includes a gymnasium on the lower levels and a residence hall for some 560 students on the upper levels.) Department offices for the Dean of Students, Off-campus Student Services, and Student Life are on the second level of the Campus Center, while the offices for Athletics are on Lower Level 2.
Mission Statement
The Max Mutchnick Campus Center is committed to the enhancement and support of student life and the Emerson College community through our dedicated spaces, services, and opportunities for student involvement and community engagement.
