Director Julian Higgins, is a Los Angeles-based writer and director. He has earned a BFA in Film from Emerson College as well as an MFA in Directing from the world famous American Film Institute.
No Wind, No Waves (2008)
A middle-aged Chinese man arrives in America for the first time to visit his son, but his trip goes terribly awry when he discovers his son has disappeared.

Struggling to survive in the dark days after the American invasion of Iraq, Mehdi, a humble goatherd, lives a solitary life in the hills. One morning, a grizzled stranger arrives at Mehdi's hut, armed with an AK-47 and looking for food. As the man begins to eat, Mehdi realizes they've met before, forty years earlier, when Iraq was a very different place...
