Courses and Workshops

Professional Studies offers a variety of non-credit professional courses during the fall, spring and summer terms. These courses are designed for professional and personal development and do not carry academic credit towards earning a degree. Non-credit courses are open enrollment, meaning no application is required. Simply choose the course of interest to you, register and pay online. Students not enrolled in a degree program at Emerson may be eligible to enroll in selected credit-bearing courses. Prerequisite policies apply in some instances. A wide variety of credit courses are offered each summer and select courses are offered during fall and spring semesters.

You must have earned a high school diploma or GED to register for undergraduate-level courses. You must have earned a bachelor's degree to enroll in graduate-level credit-bearing courses.
