Using Emerson College Policies on Local Webpages

To reduce duplication and especially variation of individual academic and institutional policies, we have compiled the following non-exhaustive list of policies.  The policy section of the website is by intent a private repository; as a result you may not link to these policies. Instead you must embed them in your own page using the custom syndicate content function.

To insert a policy

1. Create a new page.
2. Add the appropriate header using the <h1></h1> notation.
   
3. Choose Insert New Element > Miscellaneous Elements > Custom Script > cs_syndicateContent.cfm
4. In the parameters tab, enter the pageID and controlID of the policy you want to insert in the form. A completed parameter will look like this:
   
   pageID=123456
   controlID=123456
   
   
5. Click Finish. The syndicated content should appear on that page.
6. You can use the same parameters on each page where the content needs to be repeated.
