| Rafael Jaen Costume Shop Supervisor (2000) B.F.A., New York University; M.A., Emerson College Mr. Jaen teaches costume design and the history of fashion and decor. He has been designing costumes in projects produced in the USA, Spain, Scotland and Venezuela. Mr. Jaen is currently the Costume Area Head and Costume Design Resident at Emerson College in Boston. Recently he has chaired portfolio development workshops at the USITT Annual Conference and Stage Expo and was a guest speaker at the MIT Theater Design Symposium. He is a member of the United States Institute for Theater Technology (USITT) –where he is Chair of Costume Portfolio Reviews, and he is also is a member of the United Scenic Artist (USA) Chapter 829. His book about development of Design-Tech portfolios will be published in the Fall of 2005. |
