| Ronald De Marco Shop Supervisor (2006) B.A., North Central College Mr. De Marco came to Boston from Chicago, where he held a wide variety of jobs in leading professional and academic theaters. He has held full-time positions with Victory Gardens Theatre (Production Manager), Northwestern University (Master Carpenter), Buffalo Theatre Ensemble (Resident Stage Manager), and the Williamstown Theatre Festival (Assistant Technical Director). Freelance positions have included just about every conceivable backstage job: technical director, stage manager, sound engineer, property designer, master electrician, special effects engineer, changeover crew, and a host of others with companies such as Shakespeare Repertory, Light Opera Works, Theatre BAM!, Pegasus Players, Drury Lane, Northlight, Goodman, Steppenwolf, City Lit, Remy Bummpo, and Coyote Theatres. Mr. De Marco has created scenic designs for Bell, Book and Candle for Wisconsin’s Washington Island Players, The Littlest Angel with Emerald City Theatre Co., Love in the Catskills for the Midwest Jewish Theatre, Remuda for Industrial Theatre, Postlude: A Play, For the Moment for Middleboro High School, and The Duchess of Malfi and The Women for Emerson Stage. He has also led workshops in Scenic Design and Construction for the Wisconsin Area Community Theatre Festival and for The Company Theatre in Norwell, MA. He is a member of USITT. |
