Joe Waz, Jr. and Ann Stookey P’10 2009-2010 Chairs Philadelphia, PA emersonplc10@gmail.com Joe and Ann have been PLC members since 2006. Joe is Senior Vice President, External Affairs and Public Policy Counsel for Comcast Corp. He has primary responsibility for the company’s public policy activities, political action committees and charitable programs. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston University and a doctor of laws degree from the University of Connecticut law school. Ann’s background is in public broadcasting and she serves on the boards of arts and cultural non-profit organizations. She holds a bachelor’s degree from North Texas State, a master’s degree from Ohio University, and an ABD from the University of Wisconsin. Their son, Jack, is a film production major. |

Mark Blank P’11 Coral Gables, FL Mark has been a PLC member since 2007. A third generation Miamian, Mark comes from a distinguished family of philanthropists. He inherited the legacy of his grandparents, Sam and Bea Blank, who established the Blank Charitable Foundation in 1940. Mark was co-chair of the Parents Campaign at The George Washington University when his daughter Danielle attended the university. A former president of National Brands, an investment management firm, Mark is currently a Life Trustee of the Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation. His son, Max, is a BFA design/technology major. |

Robert and Marion Edwards P’10 Glendale, CA Robert and Marion have been PLC members since 2007. Robert Edwards is a retired realtor who holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas. Marion Edwards is President of Twentieth Century Fox’s International Television Division. She has been named on the Hollywood Reporter’s annual list of the 100 most powerful women in entertainment each year since 2003. Prior to her current position, Marion served as both Executive and Senior Vice President for Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution. During her career at Fox she has been responsible for licensing Fox films and series in the international television market, as well as creating a format licensing business. Their daughter, Caroline, is a marketing communications major. |

Joe and Regina Fieschko P’10 Pittsburgh, PA Joe and Regina have been PLC members since 2006. Joe Fieschko is an attorney whose practice, Fieschko & Associates, is located in Pittsburgh. Regina also works at the firm, handling business matters. He earned his undergraduate degree at Brown University and his juris doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh law school. Joe and Regina have been active with the Brown Club of Pittsburgh and they chaired the Annual Giving Campaign at Sewickley Academy, their son Zander’s secondary school. Zander is a film production major. |

Rick and Julie Lieberman P’12 Harrington Park, NJ Rick and Julie have been PLC members since 2008. Rick has extensive experience integrating transportation, warehouse operations, inventory control, and customer service with process improvement skills. He is a graduate of Rutgers. Julie is vice president of sales with Miller Products Co. Inc., a pharmaceutical supply company. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. Their son, Brian, is a film production major. |

Larry O’Reilly P’08 Arlington, VA Larry has been a PLC member since 2008. Larry recently retired after a career at the Smithsonian, serving as the Director of Exhibits for the National Museum of Natural History. He was also the Executive Producer of the 3-D IMAX film GALAPAGOS which won an award from the Boston Aquarium as the best educational film of the year. He was recently on the Board of the Giant Screen Cinema Association, a group representing film producers, manufacturers, theater owners and others connected to large-format films. Larry holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston College. He has also created a non-profit foundation for science education and has assembled influential Washingtonians to aid in the effort. His daughter, Nora, received a BA in Theatre Studies in 2008. |

Jeff and Nancy Serkes P’11 New Canaan, CT Jeff and Nancy have been PLC members since 2007. Jeff is a Principal & Chief Operating Officer of Palisade Capital Management, LLC in Fort Lee, NJ. Previously, he was Sr. Vice President and CFO of Allegheny Energy, Inc. and VP, Finance, Sales & Distribution and VP & Treasurer at the IBM Corporation. He also currently serves on several corporate boards. Jeff holds a BBA in Accounting from George Washington University and an MBA in Finance from Rutgers Business School, where he is on the Board of Advisers. Nancy is a retired nurse who earned a degree at Misericordia School of Nursing. Their son, Andrew, is a musical theatre major. |
