Events and Programs for Families

	Orientation: Winter 2010 Orientation, January 14-17, 2010 Each fall, Emerson College hosts Undergraduate Orientation and Graduate Orientation for newly enrolled students. Winter Orientation activities are also held for undergraduate students enrolling in the spring.
	Homecoming/Athletics Emerson College Homecoming is held every year in the early fall. Come and cheer for the Emerson Lions throughout the year! Visit the Athletics website for the latest sports schedules.
	Family Weekend: October 22-24, 2010 Held every fall, Family Weekend is an opportunity for Emerson parents and families to visit campus and participate in a variety of events and activities. The first Parents Leadership Council meeting will be held on Saturday, October 23; families looking to learn more as well as active members are invited to attend!
	PLC President's Weekend: March 26-27, 2010 Each spring, members of the Parents Leadership Council gather in Boston for a full weekend of social and strategic planning events. 	Commencement: Monday, May 17, 2010 This year's undergraduate and graduate commencement exercises will be held at the Citi Performing Arts Center (The Wang Theatre), 270 Tremont Street. Undergraduate exercises will begin at 11:00 am. Graduate exercises will start at 3:00 pm.
	Emerson Stage The producing organization of Emerson's Department of Performance Arts, Emerson Stage's 2009-2010 season features eight full stage productions.
	Summer Send-Off Parties Held in select cities throughout the summer, these New Student Receptions are a great way for new students and parents to socialize and learn more about Emerson and life on campus in Boston. These receptions are held in the homes of Emerson alumni and/or parents who volunteer to act as hosts.
