About Crispin Struthers
American Hustle marks Crispin's third collaboration with director David O. Russell. Crispin was previously nominated for an Oscar for his editorial teamwork with Jay Cassidy on Silver Linings Playbook. He first teamed with David O. Russell as an assistant editor on The Fighter.
- VFX in American Hustle : Behind the Scenes with Zero VF
Continuing the conversation about the post production for American Hustle, VFX supervisor Sean Devereaux and co-founder Brian Drewes of Zero VFX in Boston, will lead a discussion about their role in the post production and visual effects creation for American Hustle; and how through VFX and creative vision, they helped transform the streets of 2013 Boston to the gritty streets of 1970s New York City!
ABOUT SEAN DEVEREAUX (VFX Supervisor, co-founder)
Sean Devereaux's artistry has appeared in over thirty feature films, including AMERICAN HUSTLE, TRANSFORMERS, THE TOWN, and CINDERELLA MAN. Sean has worked for some of the best-known and most well-respected visual effects studios in the world, including Industrial Light & Magic and Pixar. He is the Co-founder and Lead Visual Effects Supervisor at ZERO VFX, a Boston-based Visual Effects Studio. Zero works closely with directors and creatives to help them realize their vision; turning ideas into dynamic and awe-inspiring motion pictures. Most recently, Sean Co-founded ZYNC. ZYNC's cloud-based rendering software offers unlimited power to post-production artists wherever in the world they are located, no matter how much computer power they need. A frequent speaker at industry events, Sean has taught thousands of artists from around the globe the art of visual effects. But, perhaps even more importantly, he has helped artists harness their talents and turn their passion into work that is both meaningful and impactful.

Brian Drewes has a 10 + year history of bringing core leadership to companies. He's lead explosive growth in Media and Entertainment / Software startups while demonstrating a flexible, team-based approach helping to bring these companies to market profitably.
At ZERO, Brian plays a major role in planning and overseeing all components of large visual effects projects from initial bidding to final delivery.
