Many issues of concern to you will be discussed including travel, registration, housing, what to bring, spending money, etc. The Los Angeles Program Director of Internships and Student Services, Kerri McManus, will be traveling east to participate in this meeting and discuss the internship program in detail. Also on hand will be Los Angeles Program Residence Director Turi Daoust.  Remember, attendance at one of these meetings is mandatory. Please make note of the dates and make every effort to attend.

If you have a class conflict during both sessions and you cannot make it to either one of them, let us know and we will arrange a one-hour make-up session for you here in our office. You should not be missing class to attend a Los Angeles Program meeting. The make-up session will last about 1 hour. There is a lot of information to remember and to consider.

This is a repeat of a Tuesday afternoon meeting from 2 - 3:45 in UBANK 301, 216 Tremont Street,

This event is not open to the public.

Sponsored by Student Activities with Greek Council

In this galvanizing keynote, Chicago-based filmmaker Mike Dilbeck reveals the nature of this social phenomenon and the barriers many of us feel when we consider whether or not to act—those that get in the way of being a hero to other people, organizations and issues.

Students from all walks of life will then understand how seizing the opportunity to act can dramatically change their campus, and how it can allow them to be the every|day hero they want to be. Mike concentrates on giving his audience powerful life skills to use whenever they see unhealthy or negative behavior among their peers, in their classes, on their campuses and in their lives. You will leave ready to make an impact in your life and student organization!
