Saab Hires Castriota to Serve as Head Designer

Jason Castriota ’97 was recently hired by Swedish automaker Saab as the new head designer. According to autoblog.com, Castriota’s first assignment with Saab is to redesign their bread and butter model, the 9-3 range, into something a bit more unique and upscale. “The 9-3 design as made by him is basically done,” says Saab CEO Victor Muller, “and I can tell you it is spectacular. It is truly aircraft-inspired and Swedish-clean.”
