Radio anchor Mathieu '96 to take WBZ News post

Joe Mathieu ’96 will join WBZ NewsRadio as the morning news anchor early next month. Mathieu studied mass communication/radio broadcasting at Emerson. Since graduating, he has worked at CBS MarketWatch Radio, 1010WINS in New York, WBBM in Chicago, and WTOP in Washington, D.C. He also launched and developed the P.O.T.U.S. news radio channel for Sirius XM in 2007.
Amps, guitars, and keyboards made their way around the WERS 88.9 studios, part of the station's Live Music Week. Throughout the week, local musicians perform live onsite at Emerson’s FM radio station.
