Praise for ArtsEmerson's Tales from Ovid
November 15, 2012
A Boston Phoenix review offers enthusiastic praise for ArtsEmerson’s production of Ted Hughes’ Tales from Ovid, calling the performance by Boston troupe Whistler in the Dark a “pared-down, pumped-up dip into the elemental.”Additionally, a Boston Globe review calls the production “as inventive, audacious, and vital as the company that created it.” It also notes that ArtsEmerson’s executive director Robert J. Orchard saw the production at the Factory Theatre in the South End a couple of years ago and invited the company to remount it at the Paramount Center.
