Payne and students talk about changes in radio on NECN

In the light of more changes coming to Boston radio formats, Communication Studies Professor Gregory Payne and students, including producers at 88.9 WERS, spoke with NECN about the state of talk radio. Payne says that he hopes talk radio will survive, but, he said, “it’s all about ratings.” Senior Jordan Rummel says in the segment that he thinks students today are less willing to listen to talk radio.
