Payne says new ads could help Warren
October 11, 2012
Associate Professor of Communication Studies Dr. Gregory Payne was interviewed by WCVB-TV on October 8 about Massachusetts Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren’s new political ads. The ads feature asbestos victims defending Warren for her work representing Travelers Insurance, for which she’s come under attack by incumbent Senator Scott Brown. Payne says the ads could help Warren make up ground in the campaign. “They’ve taken a testimonial from someone people can resonate with and emotionally identify with,” he said.
