Leccese comments on Rolling Stone controversy

July 19, 2013

Assistant Professor Mark Leccese of the Journalism Department wrote an opinion piece for WBUR-FM’s Cognoscenti blog about the controversy surrounding Rolling Stone magazine’s cover photo of Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

“I have no objection to Rolling Stone putting a photo of … Tsarnaev on its cover. My objection is to the photo the editors chose,” Leccese wrote.
