Emersonians win Miss Boston and Miss Cambridge titles

February 18, 2014

Meagan Fuller, a graduate student in the Health Communication program, won the 2014 Miss Boston competition while Michelle Nigro ’12, a Journalism graduate, captured the 2014 Miss Cambridge title.
According to BostInno, the two each win a prize package worth more than $10,000, which includes funds for academic scholarships. Additionally, with their new titles, they’ll have the opportunity to raise awareness for causes that are important to them. For Nigro, it’s Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer and for Fuller, it’s Knocking Out Dropping Out: Promising Youth Success in School.
Both will go on to pursue the Miss Massachusetts title, which then leads to the Miss America competition.
