Emerson alum Miguel Cervantes On Broadway

Miguel Cervantes ’99 is no dummy—but he is currently performing in American Idiot on Broadway. The Tony Award-nominated musical follows the captivating journey of a generation of young Americans as they struggle to find meaning in a post-9/11 world. Set to the music of Green Day, there is little dialogue with the storyline led instead by the popular indie rock band’s lyrics. The show includes all of the songs from the album American Idiot, as well as several songs from the band’s Grammy-nominated latest release, 21st Century Breakdown.
