Emerson alumnus Jason Grossman ’02 is co-producer of a new Broadway show receiving outstanding reviews. Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, written by Christopher Durang and starring Sigourney Weaver, is the story of three middle-aged siblings struggling with self delusion and pity. Writing about a scene from the play, a New York Times reviewer says, “I can think of no more deliriously funny moment from this theater season.” The Washington Post calls the show “a zany joy.” Grossman took home five Tony Awards last year for the Broadway hit Peter and the Starcatcher.
