ArtsEmerson helps hearing, visually impaired cast

June 19, 2014

Matthew Harrington, front-of-house operations fellow for ArtsEmerson: The World On Stage, has blogged about ArtsEmerson’s recent accommodation of theater production cast members who had hearing and visual impairments.

In a post on the VSA Massachusetts’ website, Harrington explained that ArtsEmerson additionally helped many audience members with blindness or hearing impairment by providing items such as Braille and large-print programs, as well as assisted listening devices, during performances of Not by Bread Alone in April.

VSA Massachusetts is a state organization on arts and disability.
