Alumnus Watsky featured in Boston magazine

Alumnus George Watsky ’10 was featured in Boston magazine talking about his journey from doing spoken word in San Francisco to the top of the iTunes hip hop charts. Watsky says Emerson College helped him gain a practical understanding of what it means to be an artist. “You can’t just go out into the world expecting everybody to bow and anoint you the next brilliant artist who’s going to transform the world,” he said.
