The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) has awarded Conference All-Academic honors to 93 Emerson College student-athletes from 14 athletic teams for the 2011–2012 academic year.

Alumnus named GM of Orlando Magic
The Orlando Magic has named Rob Hennigan ’04 its new general manager, according to several news outlets. When he starts in his new role, Hennigan will be the youngest GM in the NBA.

Alumnus takes NBA team to Finals
Sam Presti ’00 is the executive vice president and general manager of the Oklahoma City Thunder, the NBA team currently playing the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals. The Thunder is leading the seven-game series 1-0.
