  • Strader '14 works on 'Jem' movie

    Connor Strader '14 calls his internship with Blumhouse Productions in Los Angeles "such a positive experience," especially after working with director Jon M. Chu on the Jem and the Holograms movie.

  • 7 students attending Cannes Film Festival

    Seven Visual and Media Arts students will attend the famed Cannes Film Festival in France May 14–25 while a total of 10 student and alumni films will be shown at the festival’s Short Film Corner. 

  • ArtsEmerson announces 2014-15 season line-up

    The World On Stage has announced 10 of the productions scheduled for 2014-2015, its fifth anniversary season. Tickets are on sale for ArtsEmerson members only May 7–30 on artsemerson.org or by calling the box office at 617-824-8400. For the general public, various ticket packages are available beginning May 7, and individual ticket sales will begin May 31.

  • Comedy lights up 134th Commencement

    Jokes and jabs were themes at Emerson College’s 134th Commencement on May 11, which featured Jay Leno ’73 as the undergraduate commencement speaker, but the upbeat ceremonies also offered reflection and thanks to those who brought us into this world: our mothers.

  • Expression magazine app wins awards

    Emerson’s alumni magazine, Expression, has won two Hermes Creative Awards for its mobile app: platinum for the Summer 2013 issue and gold for the Spring 2013 issue.

  • Class blends theater, civic engagement

    Students in a Performing Arts Department class that blends theatre and service learning recently shared their experiences.

  • Hundreds expected for Alumni Weekend 2014

    Emerson’s campus will come alive May 30–June 1 as alumni, friends, and families from around the world reunite at Alumni Weekend 2014. More than 500 people are expected to attend.

  • 2014 Inclusive Excellence Awards announced

    The Office of Diversity and Inclusion has honored two members of the Emerson community with 2014 Inclusive Excellence Awards for demonstrating leadership in advancing diversity and inclusion at the College.
