    The national broadcast premiere of Visual and Media Arts Associate Professor Marc Fields’s documentary Give Me the Banjo will air Friday (November 4) at 9:00 pm on PBS. It will be shown as part of a new series called PBS Arts Fall Festival.

    Students and faculty from many disciplines got the opportunity to witness the dissection of a human brain, in an event sponsored by the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) last week.

  • Women’s Volleyball finishes regular season undefeated in GNAC

    The Emerson Women’s Volleyball team completed a perfect season in its conference Saturday afternoon as it toppled Mount Ida College 3-0 and Emmanuel College 3-1. Emerson finished 22-7 for the year and 13-0 in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC), securing the top seed and GNAC tournament hosting privileges.

    WERS to host Frog Pond college nights

    Emerson’s award-winning, student-run radio station WERS 88.9 FM is gearing up to host college nights at the Boston Common Frog Pond during this year’s ice skating season. They begin their hosting duties Tuesday, November 15, and will continue hosting throughout the winter every Tuesday from 5-9 pm.
