Trustee Ronald Walker honored

Emerson College Trustee Ronald Walker is being honored by the Visiting Nurse Association of Boston as a 2012 Hero in Health Care on Friday, October 12, at the Mandarin Oriental in Boston’s Back Bay.
“Ron is deeply invested in the ongoing revitalization of Boston’s inner city and many of the communities that the Visiting Nurse Association serves,” said President Lee Pelton. “Under his watch, thousands of local companies got their start, expanded, and thrived. Ron’s commitment to the health and well being of our community is deeply admired, both locally and nationally,” he said.
