Rave Reviews for performer Maurice Hines, ArtsEmerson's Tappin'

May 17, 2013

Maurice Hines donned the cover of the Boston Globe’s G Section and pictures of Hines dancing on-stage filled the pages of Boston Metro, Broadway World, and Boston Arts Diary for the hit show Tappin' Thru Life, directed by ArtsEmerson’s Director of Artistic Programs David Dower.

Boston Metro Reviewer Katrina Lallier says “You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and you’ll fall in love all over again with Maurice Hines in this nostalgic production that invokes all of the things that you forgot made you smile. You just needed Hines to remind you.” And from Boston Arts Diary: “ArtsEmerson, once again, is to be heartily commended for bringing yet another stimulating entertainment to the Boston scene as part of its highly diverse and fascinating roster of offerings.”
