Artist Jennifer Perlmutter ’89 gave a talk on the theme of cultivating innovation at TEDxMonterey on April 15. Operated under the license of TED, TEDx talks are local, self-organized events that bring people together to share TED-like experiences.
Unlike a conservatory, focused exclusively on specialized training, Emerson is a four-year college that provides students with a rich and diverse liberal arts education.
Currently one of the top communication and arts colleges in the nation, Emerson College admitted 42% of its almost 7,000 applicants in 2009—who had an average SAT score of 1215.
