Hollywood insiders at Emerson LA kick-off

Alumni and top Hollywood industry professionals were at the Brentwood, California home of Kevin and Claudia Bright on July 27, 2013 to kick off the multi-year, $20 million The Future Has Your Name On It! campaign to raise funding for Emerson College Los Angeles, which is scheduled to open early in 2014. Kevin Bright ’76, former executive producer of Friends, is the Founding Director of the Los Angeles Center, and has been an Emerson faculty member since 2006. Among those in attendance were Vin Di Bona ’66, an Emerson Trustee and creator of America’s Funniest Home Videos; Larry David P ‘16, of Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm; Doug Herzog ’81, president of MTV Networks; and Emerson President Lee Pelton. Norman Lear ’44, producer of All In The Family, is the honorary chair of the fund raising campaign, and addressed the crowd by video.
