Gauge receives Mark of Excellence Award
May 06, 2011
Gauge, an innovative and compelling publication that challenges readers to “know better,” received a Mark of Excellence Award from the Society of Professional Journalists. The magazine is a graphics-centric publication featuring everything from Boston-area features to short stories to interviews, as well as a sister blog that is updated weekly. Gauge also received second place in the Best Student Magazine category, behind Syracuse University’s Handshake. Gauge, which released its highly anticipated spring issue on May 5, was selected specifically for the excellent work in its fall issue, released last December.
