'Boston Strong' t-shirts raise thousands

April 18, 2013

T-shirts emblazoned with the words “Boston Strong,” which were created by two Emerson students to benefit the victims of the Boston Marathon tragedy, have been selling at a rapid pace.

The Boston Globe, Boston Herald, and other outlets have reported on the T-shirts created by Nick Reynolds ’14 and Chris Dobens ’16. At $20 each, proceeds are going to The One Fund Boston, which was established by Governor Deval Patrick and Boston Mayor Thomas Menino to benefit the victims and their families.

An updated story on the "Boston Strong" T-shirt sales in the Boston Globe shares that Reynolds and Dobens have sold 37,000 T-shirts, raising more than $566,000 for the One Fund.
