Asim’s latest book featured in the New York Times

Writing, Literature and Publishing faculty member Jabari Asim’s latest book, 50 Cents and a Dream, was recently reviewed in the New York Times. The Times describes the picture book about Booker T. Washington, illustrated by Bryan Collier, as a story about the desire for justice and says it is “told with poetic and soulful candor.”
