The Department of Visual and Media Arts is committed to providing students a challenging intellectual and artistic environment, comprised of state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, and fueled by an accomplished and dedicated faculty.

Our faculty represents a variety of scholarly and artistic approaches to the media arts, and offers a wide range of social, political, and cultural contexts for the development of a student’s individual interests in the media.

The department’s curriculum ensures that students acquire a depth of knowledge and expertise in their selected areas, as well as a breadth of understanding that allows them to work across the media in a variety of genres.

Whether you are interested in studio television production, film directing, screenwriting, animation, post-production, or interactive media, the Department of Visual and Media Arts provides you the opportunity to explore your artistic identity in an exciting atmosphere of collaboration among students and faculty.
