This specialization provides students with fundamental business and entrepreneurial skills for producing and managing media projects. Through assigned readings, case studies, field trips, and guest speakers, students learn grant writing and fundraising, portfolio design, business plans, and marketing and distribution strategies for traditional media forms and independent and alternative media.
