Mark ChesakPart Time Faculty (2008) B.A., University of Massachusetts, Amherst http://www.linkedin.com/in/MarkChesak Mark Chesak is an editor specializing in long format documentaries. With 27 years of experience spanning broadcast television, promo production, independent film and experimental video, his editing credits include: "Crash of Flight 111" for NOVA, "Dangerous Prescription" for Frontline, "Surviving Mars" for the Discovery Channel, as well as numerous shows for the History Channel and the National Geographic Channel. Mark was recently an editor and postproduction supervisor with the History Channel Series "Tougher in Alaska." In addition to editing, Mark is also an AVID Certified Instructor and has worked with students from various backgrounds, countries and news organizations including: CNN Middle East Office, members of the US Military and White House Communications staff. Other teaching credits are: The Maine International Film Television Workshops, Boston University's Center for Digital Imaging Arts and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
