• To provide members with opportunities to interact with other collegiate chapters in the Boston area
• To provide networking opportunities to our members

Graduate Student Organizations
Communicators for Health

CFH is a graduate student-run organization for the Health Communication department. Anyone in the program is welcomed, and also encouraged to be an officer. Our goals are to provide all students interested in the health communications field an opportunity for:

  • Student interaction outside the classroom
    Networking opportunities with healthcare professionals
  • Connection to GSA and graduate program faculty
  • Speaker series to gain perspectives from different professionals
  • Additional activities/events to become more knowledgeable about the different internship, academic, and career opportunities that may be available for health communication students

Because of the inner-city campus dynamic and graduate student off-campus lifestyle, we feel Communicators for Health can provide our fellow graduate students a vital connection to the Emerson community.

Graduate Students For GMCA

Members of Graduate Students for Global Marketing Communication and Advertising focus on issues that impact marketing communication around the world. They hold workshops and events to promote discussion of global communication issues and foster community among graduate students in the program.

Graduate Students for Integrated Marketing Communications

Graduate Students for IMC exists to promote the idea of integrated marketing communications and its purpose in the business environment through career focused events and discussions. GSIMC will also work to facilitate a familial feeling throughout the graduate student IMC body. In the past we have brought in guests for discussions from organizations such as the American Marketing Association and the Massachusetts Interactive Media Council. Events like this are planned every semester along with other networking/social events for students to get to know each other.
