He is president and founder of TechMarcom (www.TechMarcom.com), an independent agency specializing in value-based marketing communications for technology companies since 1999. Its Biotech Marcom division provides public relations and marketing communications for the life sciences. An accomplished strategist and journalist/writer (see www.JournalistForHire.com), Boroshok's articles and columns have appeared in The Boston Globe, The Los Angeles Times, The Christian Science Monitor, Newsweek, Crain Communications, TechLiving Magazine, ZDNet, CMP Publications, Mass High Tech, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, DM News, PRWeek, and more. He has also "ghost-written" articles and white papers on behalf of company executives. His peer review article was published in The Journal of Hospitality and Leisure Marketing. Boroshok is the key client and media contact on all TechMarcom accounts, often assisted by a focused team of senior professionals. TechMarcom has produced results for public corporations and start-ups including, Cognos, Parametric Technologies Corp. (PTC), NatWest Bank, RegenMed, Bonita Software, Netspoke, MobileWise, Omtool, Ltd., SoftLock.com, Tyco Simplex-Grinnell, Monster.com, and The Kryptonite Corp. Before starting TechMarcom, Boroshok served as senior marketing communications manager for Lernout & Hauspie Speech Products, USA Inc. (L&H), a global leader in speech and language technologies. Boroshok developed, managed, and implemented marketing communications plans that launched new voice recognition software, and created new collateral materials, including product brochures, packaging, datasheets, review guides, direct mail pieces and ads. Prior to L&H, Boroshok was a senior public relations specialist for Sybase, Inc., where he launched two new development tools for enterprise Internet applications. Boroshok has an extensive PR agency background. He served as senior account executive on the PSINet, AT&T, and Monster.com accounts at Poppe Tyson (a Bozell Sawyer Miller Group Company). As an account executive for Technology Solutions, Inc. (TSI), a New York City high-tech PR agency, Boroshok worked on the Sony Consumer Products account. He also brings several years of newspaper advertising and writing experience. |
