New Books Added in Memory of Alan Lee Hankin

Two titles have been added to the Library Reference collection to commemorate the life of the late Alan Lee Hankin, Assistant Professor of Communication Sciences and Disorders. Earth From Above by Yann Arthus-Bertrand features more than 200 stunning aerial photographs with accompanying essays on ecology, environmental awareness and natural systems. Reviews for the two-volume Encyclopedia of Evolution call the title "comprehensive in scope and authoritative in content" (Choice) and "accessible to general readers but […] sophisticated enough to serve scholars and scientists" (Booklist). The work includes essays from recognized scholars including Stephen Jay Gould, Jane Goodall, Sarah Blaffer Hrdy and John Maynard Smith.
