
AMERICA through the CBS Eye, a fine art photography exhibition

This traveling exhibition features memorable images taken by CBS photographers between 1928 and 1973. It captures the performers and personalities that this pioneering broadcasting network brought into the American home, first via radio, and later via television. Among the many classic entertainers featured in the exhibition are Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, Jackie Gleason, Bing Crosby, Burns and Allen, Laurence Olivier, Elizabeth Taylor, Bette Davis, and many others. Also on view are samples of vintage broadcasting equipment from the Emerson College Archives collection.
