New findings in the sciences happen quickly, so read magazine and journal articles to keep up in the field. Use the following databases to find articles on your topic.  

Science Databases

Health Reference Center-Academic
Combines journal articles with entries from reference sources (medical dictionaries and handbooks) to provide a range of information about health-related topics. It is aimed more at the consumer than at the researcher.

McGraw-Hill Multimedia Encyclopedia of Science & Technology
Interactive technology and science, including high-resolution graphics and animations. Available only in the Library.

Medline
Provides indexing and abstracts for medical journals. 

PsycARTICLES
Full-text of 42 journals from the American Psychological Association.

PsycINFO
Covers the scholarly literature of psychology and behavior.

General and Interdisciplinary Databases

Academic Search Premier
Covers scholarly and popular journals, magazines, and newspapers in a wide range of subject areas. Combine EBSCOhost databases to find more articles on every search.  

Academic OneFile
Another interdisciplinary database that includes peer-reviewed articles from journals and reference sources. Covers the physical sciences, technology, medicine, and more.
