The Video Collection is a multidisciplinary collection of DVD and VHS titles intended to support the broad range of study and research at Emerson College. These materials circulate only to faculty for use in classes.

The 16mm Film Collection contains 200 16mm films that are available for viewing by the Emerson community, and for use in classes by faculty. The collection contains many rare titles not available in video format. Apart from the educational value of their content, these films serve as a historical record, cultural artifact, and window to the past.

The Sound Collection contains audiocassettes, CDs, and LPs, and includes music and spoken word titles. We also have a small, but growing, number of audiobooks.

The LP Collection is housed in storage. Titles located in our catalog can be retrieved within 24 hours. Some of our older and rarer holdings have been reformatted to compact disc, and may be used in-house.
