Student Photography Exhibit
The Library is pleased to display a new exhibit featuring student photographs from the student photographic society, Developed Images. Co-presidents Dave van Ginhoven and Kevin Cordy helped to launch the exhibition before they graduated in May. Donations of the frames and glass by area businesses made the display possible. Twelve photographs are exhibited on the wall overlooking the light-well in the center of the library and will be rotated each semester.
Developed Images celebrated its 15th anniversary this year with the release of its annual magazine containing more than forty photographs. A reference copy of the publication is available from the College Archives; make an appointment to see Bob Fleming in the Archives by calling 824-8679 or ask at the Reference Desk on the 3rd floor for assistance. According to van Ginhoven, the organization hopes to “improve the magazine and expand its activities,” in the coming year. The ongoing exhibit at the Library will be a principal venue for students to display their work.
